Finding Alternatives For Bancrupcy
Most people prefer this option because it produces the best results compared to other alternatives. Debt settlement will not make your payment conditions easier but it only reduces your interest rates and other fees. The credit card company allows you to pay in smaller sum every month. Let me give you a specific example. If Ryan has not paid his dues for seven months, his unpaid bill can probably rise up to forty thousand dollars. Such that high figure is absolutely a nightmare for Ryan. However, if Ryan will settle at an average deal of fifty percent, half of his dues can be eliminated. With the help of Ryan’s consultant, he can apply for an installment payment option. In that case, Ryan only needs to pay twenty thousand dollars.

Is Bancrupcy and/or divorce an option?
My spouse plead guilty and is about to be sentenced for a felony embezzlement crime. The money stolen was used to pay down credit card bills in her name. The company that the money was stolen from is in the process of recouping a large portion of the embezzled monies back from the credit card company. The amount stolen is in excess of $400,000 but the amount being recouped from the CC companies will probably be somewhere in the ballpark of $200,000. The recouped monies will then be reapplied as a balance due on her credit card statement. Question 1: Would these reapplied credit card debts be disolvable through bancrupcy? Question 2: Would a divorce be a way of protecting my own assets from any restitution or other financial claims against her that are involved in this matter?

The Sherman Foundation: The Collapse: Tribune Files for Bancrupcy
I’m shocked because, 1, I didn’t see this coming and 2, It’s thus far receiving little media attention. One of the top media companies in the United States has filed for bankruptcy, sending shockwaves through the ranks of journalists and editors. The Tribune, which owns flagship dailies like the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune, as well as 23 television stations across the US, has been hit by falling readership and bad business decisions. If I declare bankruptcy and quit my current job (low paid) in order to move to UK to look for a better job ( I have a UK work authorization), am I allowed to do it after declaring bankruptcy? I live in Montreal and i dont speak French so my job prospects here are very limited. After filing for bancrupcy, how long is it before you can purchase a foreclosure?
dkdnur asked: We filed for bancrupcy approx. 4 years ago and have been paying outrageous rent ever since. We would love to have a house and stop paying rent but the only way we could ever afford to get into a house would be something priced low enough such as a foreclosure home. Real estate agents we have spoken with are no help at all on the subject. Of course, I understand that this is their business and why they would not want to help with this type of sale. But surely we are not the only people who have ever had this problem, how does one go about getting into one of these foreclosure homes?
